New Energize Program

This upbeat group class is great for those new to weights and for the more advanced weight trainer.  60 minutes of energizing, low impact, total body weight training led by an enthusiastic and motivating instructor.  Put a spin on or add some variety to your workout by focusing more on different speeds and ranges of motion as opposed to heavy weights.  This co-ed class will give you the energy you need to get you through the day and improve your strength and health.  Look great and feel great.  Get energized.

Class times are 9:15am and 10:15am Monday and Wednesday

June 23 - 2nd Annual Cancer Throwdown

The Cancer Throwdown 2 is set for Saturday June 23, 2012.  The Throwdown is in support of the Canadian Cancer Society.  Each participant will raise a minimum of $100 in pledges.  The entry fee is $40.   Participants will receive a shirt, bbq tickets and drink tickets.

This is an awesome day to raise money for a great cause.  The goal for each individual is to complete each of the events to the best of their abilities.  All events will be scaled to suit individual needs.  What are you waiting for?  Get to the gym and prepare your body to conquer the Throwdown!

Easter Holiday Times

Sunday session will be at 11am for the Cross Training group.  The gym will be open from 11-1:30 for open gym.  Volleyball sessions will be as follows:

11:00am - 13U and 14U Teams

12:15pm - 15U, 16U and 17U Teams

Monday schedule will be back to normal - 4, 7 and 8 for Cross Training.

Spartacus Workouts

Spartacus workouts are coming to the Pickering Recreation Complex.  Join this 5 week intensive training program.  It is going to be awesome.  Check out our friend and T12 contributor at www.spartacusworkout.com to see some samples of what we will be doing.

Cost of the program is $150 per person.  This is only $30 a week!  In addition to the Spartacus workouts, you are also able to attend Core and Biggest Loser sessions as well.

Schedule:
Monday 6am - Spartacus (need a minimum of 5 people to register for this time)
Monday 6:30pm - Biggest Loser
Monday 7:30pm - Spartacus

Tuesday 7:30pm - Core

Wednesday 6am - Spartacus (need a minimum of 5 people to register for this time)
Wednesday 6:30pm - Spartacus

Participants in all programs can attend any time as often as they like over the 5 weeks.

Programs start March 19, 2012.  Registration opens tonight at 7pm.  Forms will be available and payment can be made at the front desk of the Pickering Recreation Complex.  Please do not wait to register, times will be approved based on registration and new times may be added to accommodate the demand.
